Nothing boogie about this place. It's a no frills burger joint with parking. No need to say anything more. Burgers are thin slider style grilled up right in front of you on a griddle. Make to order, fast, budget friendly, and delicious.
Cute little (stress the LITTLE) new cocktail spot in uptown Hoboken. A nice welcome to enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink, or night-cap. Drinks are punnily named, many with homage to Hoboken, and overall cocktail menu has heavy influence on Gin or Whiskeys -- not so much with vodka.rum.tequila although of course you are able to order off menu. Re decor think velvet and art deco vibes, a lovely floral accent wall, and sparkling lights (although might need to be a tad bit dimmer to really hone it in).
Overall a good experience, but as others mentioned, I'm not sure I am comfortable frequenting a place considering the price point - $25 Widow Jane cocktail in Hoboken is a bit steep for regular pop-ins.
Stopped in here for snack after exploring the Bryant Park Holiday Market with a +1. Luckily there was space at the counter for us when we got there. Since it was a snack, we wanted to split a 5 handroll set... Unfortunately the waitress said it was a minimum of 4. We debated just getting a 5 roll set to go, but they had already turned some folks away and had filled our waters, so I didn't think this was too big a deal overall. So we ordered a 5 set and a pick your own 4 set. Upon ordering, the waitress asked if we wanted to add the dumplings or pho and then seemed annoyed we declined.
The food was fast and scrumptous. Favorites were Fatty Tuna, Yellowtail, and Scallop. Was not too much a fan of the salmon or fluke.
-1 star because: we were mid-way through our last rolls when another waiter asked if we wanted anything else. Once we said no, the waiter closed us out on the toast machine and had my husband pay the bill -- when he literally was mid bite and had to put half his roll down on the plate to pay the tab. That was a bit rude and definitely put us off to rush us out like that. I wish he just waited a few minutes until we were done!

This was a nice way to spend an hour or so within an art environment on a recent fall visit to Philadelphia. Mosaics everywhere in and out made with recycled materials. There are laminated cards with a scavenger hunt to make it more interactive for adults and kids alike. While you can't touch the actual art (apart from walking on the floor), there are carts that house some materials in case you are curious to touch. Additionally, when we went there was a PECO family jam in which an art studio was set up in the back room when we went where folks could build their own art as well as a tour of the basement space!
Quick and easy food on a busy street near the moulin rouge. Food hall style feel where tables are close together so you need to move your table in order for the next table to move in/out of their seats. Not quite a lingering spot, but they don't make you rush. As a take off two we got 1 appetizer and three entrees (little piggies we are) - glad we tried it all and luckily no judgement by our server. I can't say it was the best food I had in France, but for the prices it was worth it to try.
Def try: French onion soup
